Working his way up rewarded Chris Tan a place in the list of Asia’s leading directors of photography and underwater cameraman among others.
The versatility of his work for over 18 Years in the industry includes “blue chip” wildlife documentaries, commercials, VR 360 as well as Hollywood feature films. His outstanding work made its international appearance on BBC, Netflix, PBS, National Geographic, CCTV, 60 Minutes, CBS, Nine Network Australia, TLC and Discovery Channel.
Chris Tan was awarded best cinematography trophy at the Asian Television Awards thanks to his involvement in Discovery Channel Passage to Malaysia. He is also the founder of a production company – Borneo Demand Productions, founded in 2018, specializing in Film Location Management and have fixed big production shoots including BBC, The Green Planet and Planet Earth 3.
